What is Choose for Cheetham?

It’s all about giving young people a voice. As a part of the Hope For Cheetham project, local groups and organisations have come up with amazing ideas for activities and projects to help make Cheetham Hill a great place to grow up. These ideas could be about sports, art, mentoring, life skills, or just fun ways to bring young people together. But here’s the best part: YOU get to vote on which ones should happen!

What’s Happening on the Day?

• Check Out the Projects: Explore stalls where groups will show off their ideas and talk about what they’d like to do for young people in Cheetham Hill.

• Quick Presentations: Hear short pitches from the groups about why their projects are awesome.

• Grab Some Food & Have Fun: There’ll be a free lunch, snacks, fun activities, and a chill vibe to enjoy while you learn about the projects.

• Cast Your Vote: Once you’ve seen what’s on offer, you get to vote for your favourite projects and help decide what happens in your community!

Why Should You Come?

Because your opinion matters! This is your chance to shape the future of Cheetham Hill. Want safer places to hang out? More sports clubs? Arts activities? This is where you can make it happen. There’s also a raffle with some great prizes, like £100 vouchers and more!

Key Information

📅 When? Monday, February 17th, 2025

⏰ Time? 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Arrive by 12:30PM to take part in the vote!

📍 Where? Ukranian Centre, 31 Smedley Ln, Cheetham Hill, Manchester M8 8XB

To take part you have to arrive by 12:30 PM PLUS you will be entered into a free raffle (prizes include a PS5!) 🌟

This event is open for young people age 8 to 18 & 25 with additional needs.

Whether you’re into sports, arts, chilling with friends, or just want to see what’s happening, this event is for YOU. Bring your mates, grab some food, have fun, and help make Cheetham Hill an even better place to live.
