This report captures our learning from delivering youth-led grantmaking across Manchester since 2020, distributing £14+ million over more than 20 funds. It shows what happens when young people are trusted as decision-makers: funding becomes more relevant, more accessible, and more closely aligned with real needs. When children and young people shape priorities, design funds, and decide where money goes, the outcomes are stronger, for communities and for commissioners.
