New mural celebrates young people’s vision for Cheetham Hill, Manchester - Hope for Cheetham

Created by Manchester artist Oskar with a K, the mural brings youth creativity and a daily reminder for hope to the heart of the community.

Hope for Cheetham is our five-year youth led grants making project. Working to a clear vision - to create a Cheetham Hill where children and young people growing up here are empowered and supported by the entire community and system to achieve their HOPES and AMBITIONS.

H4C is youth-led change and decision making in action - with the priorities and funding centred around safety, inclusivity, employment, arts, sports, and opportunity.

In 2025, As part of H4C, we hosted our Choose 4 Cheetham live consultation event, where 100+ young people decided where £230K should be spent in the area.

We love seeing young people’s ideas becoming part of the places they live. The mural is now a local reminder of the vision of the incredible community.
