Accross Ummah CIC
About Organisation
Across Ummah CIC exists to bring communities together and reduce health and social inequalities by supporting individuals and families facing poor mental health, poverty, family crises, social isolation, substance misuse, unemployment and other life challenges. Through culturally responsive counselling, therapeutic support, wellbeing programmes and community food hubs, the organisation improves mental, physical and emotional wellbeing while helping to alleviate the impact of the cost-of-living crisis across Manchester.
The organisation promotes community cohesion, strengthens families, prevents domestic abuse and supports vulnerable residents through early intervention, practical support and community empowerment. Across Ummah delivers holistic programmes, including health promotion, training, workshops, employability support, coaching, financial wellbeing, outreach, and awareness campaigns that equip people with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to improve their lives.
A key priority is investing in children and young people through mentoring, leadership development, education, life skills, sports, creative arts and youth engagement activities that help them achieve their full potential. Across Ummah is also committed to supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and neurodivergent conditions, ensuring they and their families can access inclusive activities, therapeutic support, social opportunities and tailored programmes that promote confidence, independence, wellbeing and meaningful participation within their communities. Through strong partnerships and trusted community relationships, Across Ummah continues to transform lives, improve access to services, strengthen community resilience and create healthier, more inclusive communities across Greater Manchester.
