Urban and Inclusive Forest Schools (Ages 0–25)

Since 2021, we have hosted urban and inclusive family forest schools across Greater Manchester. Our core expertise lies in actively adapting the traditional forest school ethos to make it accessible for children and young people who face complex barriers to accessing the outdoors. Our model breaks down the physical, social, and economic obstacles that prevent neurodivergent, disabled, and marginalised young people from safely accessing natural environments so that they can access these in inner-city locations via grant funding.

By providing sensory-adapted, outdoor spaces, we empower parents and carers to expand their play outside, support children to self-regulate and develop friendships. While our previous forest school sites have now closed, we have a site in Longsight opening soon. This upcoming provision will continue our commitment to equity of access, offering 100% free-to-access places for eligible local families.

SEN Specialist Tuition, EOTAS, and Community Support

Led by our Founder, Siân Millward—a UK-qualified primary teacher with 16 years of sector experience—we provide bespoke, trauma-informed education solutions for children and young people under 25. We largely work with neurodivergent children and young people who struggle to engage with or access formal, mainstream schooling.

Within the Manchester community, we deliver highly individualised SEN specialist tuition and structured EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) support programmes. Our team focuses deeply on communication skills, emotional well-being, and functional independence, creating safe learning pathways tailored to each young person's unique learning styles and interests.

By grounding our educational and community-based support in a therapeutic, learner-led framework, we work with families and professionals to help young people progress toward their next steps and specific EHCP outcomes. We actively support young people through key transitional stages in their development, ensuring that no neurodivergent young person under 25 across Manchester is left behind.

Specialist NMH Mentoring, Study Skills, and Access to Work Support

Extending our commitment across the full 0–25 age spectrum, we provide specialised Non-Medical Helper (NMH) services designed to support neurodivergent young adults transitioning into higher education and employment. Our tailored provisions include Specialist Mentoring and Advanced Study Skills support, specifically designed for individuals with ADHD, autism, and associated executive functioning difficulties. We work closely with students to develop practical strategies for time management, emotional regulation, academic organisation, and minimising sensory overwhelm in high-pressure environments.

In addition to academic mentoring, we offer expert Access to Work support, serving as specialist tutors and job coaches for autistic and ADHD individuals entering or navigating the workplace. By delivering neuro-affirming, practical interventions tailored to workplace environments, we help young adults understand their professional adjustments, advocate for their workplace access needs, and successfully sustain meaningful employment. This holistic approach ensures continuity of care, bridging the gap between community-based youth support, statutory education, and future career pathways.
