About Organisation

Salford Foundation is a social inclusion charity providing support for young people and adults across Greater Manchester. We deliver both the STEER programme to support young people at risk of youth violence and the Blocks mentoring programme to support young people with their transition to Secondary School in Manchester City Council. We also deliver a gender-based violence programme, Steps to young males in Manchester schools.

In Salford we host a large women's centre which supports women who have experience Domestic Abuse, isolation, mental health challenges and co-host probation for support to women in probation. Similarly, we have another gendered specific centre for Men focusing on accessing employment and education, supporting mental health challenges and a focus on support men through the criminal justice system.
