Partnerships with Purpose
W/Youth is our youth powered consultancy that provides direct insight and strategies to meaningfully connect businesses, the public sector and decision-makers with children, young people and communities. Become future-proof by working with the youth of today to solve problems for current and future generations.
What does it look like?
We would work with you to design the best package depending on the needs and direction of your organisation. Below are the three main options we provide; however, if you have a project in mind that falls outside the scope of these reach out and let us know! To get an idea of what we have done in the past take a look through our case studies.
We are happy to work with you to create a bespoke offering.
___DISCOVER___
Rapid youth insights to inform an immediate action.
1- 2 month commitment
___BUILD___
Deep understanding & strategic planning for youth engagement.
3 - 4 month commitment
___PARTNER___
End-to-end long term co-design, delivery support and evaluation.
1 year commitment
No matter the direction, W/Youth connects you with a diverse set of insights from those who will continue to be affected by your organisation. It’s a great way to connect with non-self-selecting youth (young people who may not feel comfortable initially putting themselves forward for these opportunities) to get a wider range of more representative feedback.

CASE STUDIES
The Department of Sport, Culture, and Media
In April, 2025, Young Manchester partnered with the Department of Culture, Media, and Sport to lead the Manchester iteration of their National ‘Deliver You’ Campaign to hear directly from young people in Manchester to co-design the government's national youth strategy.
30 young people with SEND came to the People's History Museum to share their thoughts on community spaces, access needs, financial concerns, and more. Their insights directly impacted the DCMS' National Strategy.
The Greater Manchester Combined Authority
In June 2025, we partnered with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) to design and deliver a series of workshops and peer-led research activities to better understand young people’s lived experiences of navigating technical education—from Year 9 through to college graduation—across Greater Manchester and propose tangible solutions to improve access to and experience of the Manchester Baccalaureate (MBacc).
Some of the young people involved also had the opportunity to present their own experiences to the teachers and policy makers at the MBacc Summit!
Podium Analytics
W/Youth worked with sports PR group, Matchfit as well as Podium Analytics to host a series of workshops that dove into how young atheletes engage with sport content as well as how that content impacts and informs sport injury and mental health.
We worked with partners to recruit a diverse group of young people in sport and delivered three workshops (in Manchester, London, and online). Together we parsed out what made content interesting, and trustworthy - with the data collected going to support Podium's efforts to make information accessible and engaging.
