Recruiting Activity Partners for MCR Social
It connects young disabled people who need a bit of extra support accessing public spaces with a volunteer with similar interests and supports them to go to an activity or venue of their choice together.
After a successful pilot, we’re now looking for venues and activity providers to become activity partners of the programme.
What does this mean?
We’re looking for activity providers and venues who are able to offer free entry or tickets to activities/ experiences for a young person and their volunteer.
What’s in it for you?
- A free private accessibility review based on feedback from the young person and volunteer to support you to develop the inclusivity of your event or venue
- Branding as a Partner of MCR Social - recognising you as a welcoming venue or activity for disabled young people.
- Reach and develop trust with a new diverse audience of young disabled people who have not previously accessed your venue or activity.
- Volunteering opportunities for your staff team.
