Young Disabled people are now developing a £20,000 youth-led fund aiming to increase provision for disabled young people in the city, supported by the SEND Partnership (Manchester City Council Local Offer, GMYN and Young Manchester).

Following the success of our pilot in 2020, Young Manchester together with Polly McAllester and The Oglesby Charitable Trust are excited to announce the return of our LEAD+ programme with TWO cohorts starting this Autumn.

We are incredibly excited and proud to be recruiting a young person to lead Young Manchester at the top of our organisation. This young person will be our co-CEO and will job share equally with our current CEO, Imogen.

Young Manchester is a Young Person's Foundation and a member of the YPF Trust. Together, with other Young People's Foundations from across the country, we have been exploring cultural competency and what this means for our organisations. We have together, developed a pledge which we'd like to share with you today. This pledge sits alongside and in alignment with our values as Young Manchester, which we strive to embed in all our work.
