State Talking

StateTalking aims to connect state schools with relatable role models to broaden aspirations, raise hopes and show young people in the city what might be possible for them in their city when they leave school. Low grades or a lack of network should not limit horizons.

To date, StateTalking works with around 40 secondary schools and sixth form colleges to arrange free talks. It also works with a smaller number of schools to support them in establishing their alumni networks.
